Dr Lydia Bastable, DOM, AP, LAc

A nationally board-certified diplomate in acupuncture and Chinese herbology, recently moved from Santa Fe, New Mexico, to the Emerald Coast.

In addition to dual master’s degrees and decades of hands-on practice in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Dr. Bastable has extensive training and experience in facial acupuncture rejuvenation, functional medicine, nutritional health and energy healing.

She’s also certified with the National Acupuncture Detox Association.

“For over 20 years, I’ve built a results-oriented practice that continues to grow and evolve due to my passion for education, knowledge, self-enrichment and passing that on to my patients,” she says. “Utilizing a diversity of healing modalities in an integrated holistic medical setting, I help people achieve their optimal health, providing professional, responsive, compassionate therapy in a casual and friendly environment.”

By combining modalities to focus on the whole person—mind, body and spirit—Bastable says she’s successfully treated a variety of health concerns, including pain, stress, fatigue, allergies, digestive disorders, depression, anxiety symptoms, women’s and men’s health issues, and long-term chronic and degenerative diseases.

“I use a blend of Chinese and Japanese acupuncture in my treatments, providing an effective and gentle style for my patients,” she says. “As a reiki master and pranic healer, I also include energy healing and integrate functional medicine, nutritional counseling and health coaching into my treatments.”

She says a big part of her mission is helping patients understand the benefits of acupuncture and holistic living, with the goal of fostering not just their longevity, but also their youthful vitality, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life every day.
