ABOUT US

Pure Pilates is the premier Pilates and GYROTONIC® studio in Northwest Florida, offering one-on-one sessions and group classes. Master Trainer, Susan Clark Waters, first opened the Gulf Breeze location in 2012 with the goal of fusing the restorative benefits of physical therapy with the core strengthening benefits of Pilates and GYROTONIC®. To reach a greater number of clients and expand the Pure Fitness Apparel activewear boutique, the business grew into a second studio in Downtown Pensacola in 2014. 

Pure Pilates houses the most Nationally Certified Pilates Teachers in Northwest Florida. Our instructors have completed their Pilates Certification Programs through Balanced Body Education, Body Arts Science Institute, and Club Pilates. We are currently home to GYROTONIC® Pensacola, and are the only Balanced Body Pilates Authorized Teacher Center in the Southeast along the Gulf Coast. As a qualified training facility, Pure Pilates has hosted hundreds of Pilates apprentices from all over the world since 2014.

We believe in the principles originally developed by Joseph Pilates. Correct form and control over the body and equipment during exercises, combined with individualized training drives the focus of our classes and private sessions. We welcome clients of all levels of physical ability. Our instructors have experience teaching prenatal and postpartum clients, post-surgical clients, young athletes, dancers, and anyone who is interested in learning Pilates.
