Dance Conditioning Intensive
June 15th - 19th
2:00pm - 6:00pm
$250
Pure Pilates is fortunate to have so many trainers on staff with extensive backgrounds in dance. We are the only local Pilates studio with several instructors who have college degrees in dance, and all of our teachers with dance backgrounds actively teach dance at regional schools in our area.
With our combined knowledge and skill in the dance and wellness fields, this June, we will offer our first Dance Conditioning Intensive. The focus of this intensive will be teaching the Pilates and Gyrotonic principles to young dancers, so that they may learn to understand the importance of proper and safe dance technique to improve performance, and perhaps even more importantly, to prevent injury. Today's dancer is required so much more than those of the past; they are expressive athletes, expected to jump high, turn many times, reach extreme ranges of flexibility, and perform with precision and grace. Let us help your dancer learn how to maintain healthy form and a healthy body to prolong his or her dance career!
All classes will be 45 minutes. 4 classes per day.
